Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC seeks a Trimmer/Climber Foreperson to supervise daily crew operations, coordinate training, enforce safety, and liaise with the General Foreperson/ Supervisor. You will plan tasks, monitor performance, and ensure efficient completion of work while maintaining high safety standards.

The role requires strong leadership, the ability to read plans, and the stamina to work outdoors in varying conditions. Valid driver's license and DOT safety awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Understand drawings and symbols for lines and equipment.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Organized, able to multi-task and work with minimal supervision.
• Capable of driving an approved company vehicle.
• Ability to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Weight not exceeding 300 pounds due to equipment limitations.
• No fear of heights and willingness to pay union dues.

Responsabilités

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for the crew after orders.
• Conducts field training and retraining for crew on new tasks.
• Enforces safe practices and conducts safety training.
• Discusses access and work scope with property owners and customers.
• Obtains permission to perform required work.
• Maintains customer relations through effective work completion.
• May investigate incidents and settle minor claims.
• Maintains crew records, timesheets, and reports.
• Controls crew costs and optimal use of resources.
• Provides reports on orders, units, and crew performance.
• Cooperates with authorities when blocking streets or driveways.
• Sets up barriers and safeguards; handles hazards during emergencies.
• Inspects and arranges repairs for tools and vehicles.
• Maintains housekeeping at work locations and on trucks.
• Ensures DOT maintenance/inspection on required vehicles.
• Carries out trimmer/climber tasks as required.
