Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC seeks a Trimmer/Climber Foreperson to supervise crews, coordinate daily work with management, and mentor field personnel. The role emphasizes enforcing safety protocols and ensuring high-quality, on-time completion of vegetation management tasks for utility clients.

You will coordinate with property owners, manage equipment and time records, and uphold OSHA standards while maintaining professional customer relations on busy jobsites.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Understands drawings and symbols for lines, voltages, etc.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Organizational skills with ability to multi-task.
• Able to adapt to field requirements and act independently.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Able to lift heavy items and work at heights.
• Willing to pay union dues.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for the crew after orders from a General Foreperson/Supervisor.
• Conducts field training/retraining for crew on new job units.
• Enforces safe work practices per policy and OSHA guidance.
• Discusses access, power interruption, and scope with property owners; escalates to General Foreperson as needed.
• Obtains permission from property owners to perform work.
• Maintains good customer relations through safe, effective completion of work.
