Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer/Climber Foreperson to supervise crews, plan daily work, and enforce safety on-site. You will recruit, train, and mentor crew members while coordinating with management to meet deadlines and maintain quality.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, comfort with heights, and strong leadership. Union wage scale applies with hourly compensation between $24.90 and $36.08.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Understanding of drawings and symbols representing lines and voltages.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Possess organization skills and be able to multi-task.
• Able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Able to safely drive an approved company vehicle.
• Weight of the employee should not exceed approximately 300 pounds.
• No fear of heights.
• Willing to pay union dues.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for the crew after orders from a General Foreperson/Supervisor.
• Conducts field training/retraining, instructing crew on new or revised job units.
• Enforces safe work practices per policy and OSHA standards, with safety trainings.
• Interacts with property owners/customers to arrange access and clarify responsibilities.
• Obtains permissions to perform required work and maintains crew records.
• Maintains good customer relations and reports crew performance and incidents.
• Controls crew costs and reports on units completed and repairs.
