Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer/Climber Foreperson to plan and lead daily crew work on utility line projects. You will train crew members, enforce safety standards, and coordinate access with property owners to ensure on-time, damage-free work.

The role emphasizes leadership, field training, and accurate reporting while operating under a union wage scale with comprehensive benefits. Valid driver’s license and ability to work at heights are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Understand drawings and symbols for lines and voltages.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized.
• Able to drive a company vehicle and work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and assign daily crew work from orders.
• Train and retrain crew on new or revised units.
• Enforce safe work practices per policy and OSHA guidelines.
• Obtain access permissions from property owners before work.
• Maintain records, timesheets, and reports of crew performance.
• Promote good customer relations and protect public safety.
• Investigate minor damage claims and report incidents as needed.
• Ensure compliance with DOT maintenance and vehicle inspections.
