Job summary

Hensel Phelps in Southern California is seeking Laborers to provide support to skilled trades on our projects. This safety-sensitive role covers concrete operations, form carpentry, masonry, and site logistics, with responsibilities across preparation, material handling, and clean-up.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and a commitment to safety. OSHA 10, CPR & First Aid certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Follow safe work practices per safety program.
• OSHA 10, CPR & First Aid certifications preferred.
• Experience with layout/blueprints is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare areas for concrete placement and floor slab grading.
• Shovel for extended periods and lift form panels.
• Assemble concrete forms and assist in form placement.
• Transport concrete using buckets and assist in pouring.
• Muck concrete after pouring and help strip forms.
• Move power trowels and screeds for finishing.
• Assist block masons with cement, lime, sand, grout, and stock materials.
• Supply door frames to work areas and transport as needed.
• Distribute site materials and keep the site clean and safe.
• Promote safety and secure the jobsite at day end.
