Job summary

Hensel Phelps is seeking Laborers to support form carpenters, concrete operations, ironworkers, and masons on project sites. This safety-sensitive role requires handling materials, scaffolding and moving concrete, with a focus on accurate distribution and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Follow safe work practices per safety program.
• Must take initiative and ask questions.
• Keen attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Provide own safety footwear.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and stakeholders.
• Strong mathematical reasoning and quantitative skills.
• Reliable and punctual with attendance.
• Preferred: OSHA 10, CPR & First Aid Certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare areas for concrete placement with final excavation and grading.
• Shovel for extended periods and assemble concrete forms.
• Move and position form panels and assist in placement.
• Handle concrete buckets from crane to placement area.
• Muck concrete for even distribution after pouring.
• Strip forms after curing and transport for storage.
• Assist finishers with power trowels and screeds.
• Support masons with handling blocks, cement, lime, sand, and grout.
• Load and distribute materials and tools per plans.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite and secure materials daily.
