Job summary

Hensel Phelps is seeking laborers to support skilled trades on construction projects. The role involves concrete, masonry, carpentry, and site logistics tasks on active job sites and requires safety awareness.

Responsibilities include handling materials, assisting finishers and masons, and maintaining a safe, efficient site. A High School diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license are required, with reliability and initiative highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Prepare areas for concrete placement, including final excavation and grading.
• Assemble concrete forms and assist in placement of panels.
• Operate concrete bucket from a crane and spread concrete evenly.
• Strip cured forms and transport them for storage.
• Assist finishers with power trowels and power screeds.
• Support masons with bags of cement, lime, sand, and grout and stock materials.
• Help carpenters with door frames transport and placement.
• Distribute materials around the site and ensure a clean, organized workspace.
• Promote site safety and secure the jobsite at day’s end.
