Job summary

Hensel Phelps is seeking a Laborer to support concrete, masonry, and formwork tasks on construction projects. You will prepare areas, handle materials, and assist skilled trades while following safety protocols.

Responsibilities include moving forms, distributing materials, and helping finishers, with a focus on reliability, punctuality, and teamwork. Must have own safety footwear and a valid driver's license. OSHA 10 and CPR/First Aid are preferred qualifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Follow safe work practices per safety program.
• Take initiative and ask questions when needed.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow directions.
• Provide your own safety footwear.
• Communicate professionally with team and stakeholders.
• Strong math reasoning and reliability with attendance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare work areas for concrete placement and grading.
• Assist in forming, lifting, and positioning form panels.
• Move concrete and help spread concrete after pouring.
• Strip forms after curing and transport for storage.
• Assist finishers with power trowels and screeds.
• Support masons with material handling and stock management.
• Move door frames from storage to work areas and stack as needed.
• Distribute materials and keep site clean and organized.
• Promote safety and secure the site at day end.
