Job summary

Hensel Phelps is seeking a Construction Laborer to provide support for form carpenters, concrete operations, ironworkers and masons on safety-sensitive projects. Responsibilities include prep work, form assembly, material handling, and aiding concrete finishers.

The role is full-time and on-site, with emphasis on safe work practices, reliability, and punctual attendance on a fast-paced construction site.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Follow safe work practices in accordance with safety programs.
• Must be able to take initiative and ask questions.
• Must be reliable with transportation and consistent attendance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare areas for concrete placement and fine grading.
• Assemble concrete forms and assist in placing panels.
• Move concrete from truck and spread poured slabs.
• Strip concrete forms after curing and transport them for storage.
• Assist finishers with power trowels and screeds for concrete surface finish.
• Assist block masons with bagged cement, lime, sand and grout handling.
