Black Box in Plano, TX is seeking a field technician to install, program, test and support Unified Communications systems across Premise, Hosted and Cloud environments. You will work with major platforms (Cisco, Microsoft, Avaya, NEC, Mitel, Shortel, Unify) and ensure seamless integration at client sites.

Responsibilities include on-site installation, troubleshooting, MAC work orders, and comprehensive documentation for billing and SLAs.

Competenze

• Associate degree or Certification in a technology/technical discipline or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 2+ years' experience with Unified Communications (UC) systems.
• Industry and manufacturer certifications preferred (examples: CCNA Voice/Network, MCSE, ACIS/ACSS/ACSE).
• Proven ability to install, service, program, test and troubleshoot UC systems.
• Strong customer/service orientation with effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Mansioni

• Install and program UC platforms (Chat, Presence, Voice, Mobility, Video, etc.).
• Troubleshoot UC product platforms in Premise, Hosted and Cloud environments.
• Complete MAC work orders and related documentation for billing and SLAs.
• Maintain customer satisfaction by professional, effective interactions.
• Plan and prioritize daily jobs in territory and coordinate with North American teams.
• Complete required documentation (time reporting, work order progress, etc.).
• Inform management of procedures/status of work orders and OSHA compliance.
• Request equipment and supplies to maintain inventory and ensure availability at client sites.
• Respond to emergencies after hours to meet SLAs.
• Transport tools and equipment to client sites.
• Attend meetings, trainings, and seminars to perform job functions.
• Achieve performance targets (KPIs) as established by leadership.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
