Black Box Network Services is seeking a Technician - Network to join our team in Plano, TX. The role supports 24/7 coverage with multiple shifts and involves racking and stacking equipment, patching, and installing Cisco and Avaya IP phones.

Strong data networking knowledge and hands-on hardware experience are essential. The candidate will troubleshoot hardware, perform MAC requests, manage inventory, and interface between customer staff and project teams.

Formación

• 5 years of experience in data communications.
• Must know Cisco and Avaya IP phones.
• Able to perform rack and stack activities.
• Able to lift heavy objects.
• Understand cable patching processes and procedures.
• Familiar with 66 Block and 110 Block cross connect procedures.
• Strong troubleshooting and customer-facing communication.

Responsabilidades

• Patch cabling between network equipment and customer network.
• Install and troubleshoot network devices and phones.
• Perform MAC requests within defined service levels.
• Manage inventory and asset tagging; update records.
• Support facilities tasks and power/UPS restoration.
• Coordinate with customer and project teams as interface.
