Job summary

Black Box Corporation seeks a field-based Unified Communications Technician to install, program, test and troubleshoot UC platforms at client sites in the Philadelphia area, including premise, hosted and cloud solutions from Cisco, Microsoft, Avaya and others.

You will perform MAC work orders, service calls, and coordinate with North American Commercial Services teams, while maintaining safety, documentation and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certification in a relevant discipline or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 2+ years’ experience with Unified Communications (UC) systems.
• Certifications from major vendors are preferred (Cisco/Microsoft/Avaya/others).
• Ability to install, service, program, test and troubleshoot UC systems.

Responsibilities

• Install and program UC platforms including voice, video, messaging and collaboration features.
• Troubleshoot UC product platforms across Premise, Hosted and Cloud environments.
• Complete MAC work orders and maintain customer-facing documentation.
• Coordinate with internal teams to complete projects efficiently.
• Maintain safety, quality and SLA commitments with clients.
