HR-1 is seeking a Human Resources Unemployment Claims Specialist to oversee the unemployment insurance function for HR-1 customers. You will manage day-to-day unemployment claims activities and ensure accurate, timely responses.

Responsibilities

• Oversee unemployment insurance function for HR-1 customers.
• Communicate with HR-1 customers to collect information related to employee separations.
• Review unemployment insurance claims and state agency correspondence.
• Gather and organize information from HR-1 systems as well as customer locations and departments.
• Complete responses to unemployment agencies regarding claims and fact-finding requests.
• Track claim deadlines, schedule hearings, and record determinations.
• Maintain accurate and organized unemployment claim files.
• Assist with the preparation of documentation for unemployment hearings and appeals.
• Prepare reports and track claim activity.
• Conduct research on state, local, and federal laws, as directed by Compliance Leadership.
• Produce and maintain reports and HR-related data for decision-making.
