Responsibilities

• Oversee unemployment insurance function for HR-1 customers.
• Communicate with HR-1 customers to collect information related to employee separations.
• Review unemployment insurance claims and state agency correspondence.

• Complete responses to unemployment agencies regarding claims and fact-finding requests.
• Track claim deadlines, schedule hearings, and record determinations.

• Assist with the preparation of documentation for unemployment hearings and appeals.
• Prepare reports and track claim activity.
• Conduct research on state, local, and federal laws, as directed by Compliance Leadership.
• Produce and maintain reports and HR-related data for decision-making.

Position Summary

Oversee unemployment insurance function on behalf of HR-1 customers to control unemployment insurance costs. As the Unemployment Claims Coordinator you'll help manage day-to-day activities related to unemployment claims, including:

• Communicate with HR-1 customers to collect information related to employee separations
• Reviewing unemployment insurance claims and state agency correspondence
• Gather and organize information from HR-1 systems as well as customer locations and departments
• Complete responses to unemployment agencies regarding claims and fact-finding requests
• Track claim deadlines, schedule hearings, and record determinations.
