Job summary

Selective Insurance Company of America seeks a senior governance professional to own underwriting guidelines and manage enterprise-wide governance. You will coordinate with underwriters, QA, IT, product, and operations to ensure accurate, up-to-date guidelines and compliant automation.

Responsibilities include maintaining the single source of truth, currency, and alignment of automated rules, as well as training teams on governance standards and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of commercial lines underwriting guidelines and governance.
• Experience designing, implementing, and managing governance/compliance systems.
• Familiarity with AI tools, automated underwriting, and technology-driven workflows.

Responsibilities

• Designs and owns the governance structure for underwriting guidelines.
• Manages source of truth and currency of guidelines; ensures access and accountability.
• Aligns automated rules and LOA administration with guideline source of truth.
• Trains stakeholders on governance processes and compliance expectations.
