Job summary
Selective Insurance Company of America is seeking a senior leader to own the enterprise underwriting learning and enablement function. You will define strategy, governance, and continuous improvement of training programs that develop underwriting capabilities and drive business results across underwriting, premium audit, risk management, and technology enablement.
This role oversees onboarding, trainee, technical, and change-related learning initiatives, and partners across the organization to
Qualifications
- Proven leadership in learning and development, preferably in insurance or financial services.
- Experience driving training effectiveness and leading teams.
- Knowledge of P&C underwriting operations and travel ability.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
Responsibilities
- Own enterprise underwriting learning architecture and strategy.
- Oversee onboarding, trainee, technical, and change-related learning.
- Collaborate with LOB teams to align curricula.
- Develop measurement framework for training outcomes.
- Lead the Learning & Enablement team and budget.
