Job summary

Selective Insurance seeks a senior leader to design, implement, and govern enterprise underwriting guidelines. You will own the governance framework, ensure currency and accessibility, and coordinate with underwriting practices, QA, IT, product, and operations to keep the authoritative knowledge base accurate and aligned at scale.

You will drive automation alignment, LOA administration, and governance training, enabling reliable AI-driven underwriting and model usage across the organization.

Qualifications

• College degree required or equivalent.
• 10+ years in underwriting, underwriting operations, compliance, governance, or content management.
• CPCU, AU or related designations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Designs and maintains governance framework for underwriting guidelines.
• Maintains single authoritative source of truth for guidelines and ownership.
• Ensures currency, accessibility, and traceability of guidelines across systems.
• Coordinates with underwriting practices, QA, IT, product, and operations.
• Trains stakeholders on governance processes and compliance expectations.
