Job summary

MasTec Utility Services in Texas is seeking a UGE Operator to install underground conduit, cables, transformers, and switchgear colors for customers. You will support the Line team and collaborate with department staff to ensure safe, timely project execution.

The role requires a high school diploma, at least one year of relevant experience, a valid driver's license, and excavation experience. OSHA 10 and CDL Class A are preferred. The work is field-based and physically demanding.

Qualifications

• Excavation experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate jobsite equipment safely, such as mobile cranes, bulldozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators.
• Perform routine service checks and minor repairs on machines.
• Inspect work areas to ensure staking/located prior to digging.
• Work with maintenance crew or assist as laborer when not operating equipment.
• Dig around all live utilities, underground and overhead.
