Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Full-time Protective Services Officer for the Evening Shift to help keep our facilities safe for patients, visitors and staff.

You will patrol grounds, escort individuals, respond to alarms, assist in investigations, document incidents, and uphold healthcare policies and safety standards.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and completion of required training within set timelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• BLS Basic Life Support certification within 6 months of hire.
• 1-2 years of security, law enforcement, or military experience preferred.
• Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Protects patients, visitors and employees by providing escorts, patrolling grounds, and mitigating safety hazards.
• Deters criminal activity through routine patrols of hospital property.
• Enforces parking, visitation, drug, and tobacco policies.
• Monitors activity via CCTV and responds to emergencies or incidents.
