Job summary

Bon Secours is seeking a Protective Services Officer to safeguard patients, visitors, and staff at its facilities. You will patrol grounds, respond to alarms, monitor CCTV, and intervene in confrontations while maintaining professional presence and documentation of all incidents.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 1–2 years in security or related fields, and a valid driver’s license. Training in non-violent crisis intervention and BLS is required within 6 months of hire, with

Responsibilities

• Escort patients, visitors and employees; patrol grounds and environmental safety hazards.
• Deters criminal activity through routine patrols of hospital property and parking areas.
• Enforce policies (parking, visitation, drug enforcement, tobacco-free policies).
• Monitor CCTV for escalating situations requiring protective services involvement.
• Respond to emergencies and complete incident reports with accuracy.
