NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital – Brooklyn Methodist Campus is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for General Ultrasound on a part-time weekend schedule. The role involves performing general ultrasound exams, greeting patients, selecting transducers, adjusting equipment, and ensuring safety standards across the Diagnostic Imaging Center.

The candidate must be ARDMS registered, hold a BCLS from AHA, have an accredited ultrasound program, and possess 3+ years of General Sonography and Doppler

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate from an accredited ultrasound technology program.
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS).
• BCLS certification from AHA.
• 3+ years of direct ultrasound experience in General Sonography and Doppler.

Responsibilities

• Perform general ultrasound examinations.
• Greet patients and assist with comfort and safety.
• Select proper transducer and adjust equipment for diagnostic tests.
• Adhere to safety standards and ensure image quality.
• Collaborate with Radiology team to support patient care.
