Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate from an accredited ultrasound technology program.
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) required.
• BCLS from American Heart Association required.
• Demonstrated patient care experience with ultrasound training.
• 3+ years of direct ultrasound experience in General Sonography (Abdominal/Pelvic/Small Parts) and Doppler preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general ultrasound examinations.
• Greet patients and provide courteous service to patients, visitors and staff.
• Assess patient condition and select proper transducer.
• Adjust equipment according to the exam requirements for accurate diagnostics.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards in all procedures.
