NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is seeking a part-time Ultrasound Technologist to perform general ultrasound examinations at the Center for Community Health (CCH) and Brooklyn Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. Join the Radiology team at NewYork-Presbyterian / Brooklyn Methodist Hospital , where we are dedicated to providing the highest quality, most compassionate care to patients. In this role, the registered Ultrasound Tech will perform ultrasound examinations. You’ll have an exciting opportunity to warmly greet & welcome patients/visitors/staff & assist in performing exams when necessary. Additional duties include to assess patient condition, select proper transducer and adjustment of equipment according to the needs required for proper diagnostic testing, & ensure adherence to safety standards. This role will ensure the continued effective operation and patient care services in key departments.

This is a part-time position, providing General ultrasound services. This position will be covering the Center for Community Health (CCH) and Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.

8:00am - 4:00pm, Mondays and Fridays

Required Criteria

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Graduate from an accredited program in ultrasound technology
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer with American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS)
• BCLS from AHA
• Demonstrated experience in patient care with training in Ultrasound
• If working in the Diagnostic Imaging Center, must have at least 3 years of direct ultrasound experience post training in General Sonography (ie Abdominal, Pelvic, Small Part) and Doppler interrogation (ie upper abdomen, female and male reproductive system) experience

Salary Range

$59.75-$70.65/Hourly
