Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian/Brooklyn Methodist Hospital is seeking a Part-Time Ultrasound Technologist for General Ultrasound. You will perform ultrasound examinations, greet patients, and assist in diagnostic testing. This role covers on-site imaging at the Center for Community Health and Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.

Shifts are 8:00am–4:00pm on Mondays and Fridays. Requirements include graduation from an accredited ultrasound program, ARDMS registration, BCLS, and prior general ultrasound experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited ultrasound program.
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) or eligible with BCLS certification.
• Experience and competence in General ultrasound and Doppler interrogation.

Responsibilities

• Perform general ultrasound examinations as part of the radiology team.
• Assess patient condition, select proper transducer and adjust equipment for diagnostics.
• Greet patients/visitors and ensure safety standards are followed.
• Collaborate with staff to support on-site imaging services at CCH and Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.
