Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate from an accredited ultrasound program.
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS).
• BCLS certification from AHA.
• 3 years of direct ultrasound experience post training (General Sonography and Doppler).

Responsabilités

• Perform ultrasound examinations for General ultrasound services.
• Greet patients, visitors, and staff warmly and assist as needed.
• Assess patient condition and select the proper transducer; adjust equipment for diagnostic testing.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards to support patient care services.
• Cover the Center for Community Health (CCH) and Brooklyn Methodist Hospital with 8:00am–4:00pm shifts on Mondays and Fridays.

In this role, the registered Ultrasound Tech will perform ultrasound examinations. You’ll have an exciting opportunity to warmly greet & welcome patients/visitors/staff & assist in performing exams when necessary. Additional duties include to assess patient condition, select proper transducer and adjustment of equipment according to the needs required for proper diagnostic testing, & ensure adherence to safety standards. This role will ensure the continued effective operation and patient care services in key departments. This is a part‑time position, providing General ultrasound services. This position will be covering the Center for Community Health (CCH) and Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. 8:00am - 4:00pm, Mondays and Fridays

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Graduate from an accredited program in ultrasound technology
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer with American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS)
• BCLS from AHA
• Demonstrated experience in patient care with training in Ultrasound
• If working in the Diagnostic Imaging Center, must have at least 3 years of direct ultrasound experience post training in General Sonography (ie Abdominal, Pelvic, Small Part) and Doppler interrogation (ie upper abdomen, female and male reproductive system) experience

Salary Range: $59.75-$70.65/Hourly
