Job summary

RadNet is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform high-quality ultrasound exams and assist radiologists with procedures in a patient-centered setting. You’ll monitor patient well-being, protect privacy, and uphold safety standards in a fast-paced radiology environment.

Candidates should have a Diploma in Ultrasound Technology, pass SPI, and hold ARDMS certification or be Registry Eligible, plus BLS. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Must have completed Ultrasound Technologist program with diploma.
• SPI exam passed or registry eligible.
• Current ARDMS certifications preferred or registry eligible.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality ultrasound procedures in accordance with department policies and regulatory requirements.
• Assist radiologists with ultrasound-guided biopsies and procedures as needed.
• Understand ultrasound data generation and operation of instruments used in clinical exams.
• Monitor patient well-being during exams and respond to discomfort or medical issues.
• Safeguard patient information and on-site medications per policy and legal requirements.
• Demonstrate professional behavior toward patients and coworkers and respect patient boundaries.
