Job summary

RadNet is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform high quality ultrasound examinations in compliance with departmental standards and applicable regulations. You will assist radiologists during biopsies and ultrasound-guided procedures, and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the exam.

Qualified candidates will have completed an Ultrasound Technologist program with diploma, SPI exam clearance, and ARDMS certification or registry eligibility; a BLS certificate is required.

Qualifications

• Completed Ultrasound Technologist program with diploma.
• SPI exam passed or eligible.
• Current ARDMS certifications preferred or ARDMS Registry Eligible.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality ultrasound procedures in accordance with department policies and regulatory requirements.
• Assist radiologists with ultrasound-guided biopsies and procedures.
• Understand ultrasound data generation methods and the operation of related equipment.
• Monitor patient well-being during exams and respond to discomfort or medical issues.
