Job summary

RadNet is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform high-quality ultrasound exams and assist radiologists with procedures. You will monitor patient well-being, safeguard PHI, and maintain professional interactions with patients and staff in a fast-paced radiology environment.

Applicants should have an Ultrasound Technologist diploma, pass SPI, hold ARDMS certifications or be eligible, and possess current BLS certification. We offer comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Completed Ultrasound Technologist program with diploma.
• SPI exam passed.
• Current ARDMS certifications or ARDMS Registry Eligible preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality ultrasound procedures in accordance with department policies and procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Assist radiologists with ultrasound-guided biopsies and procedures as needed.
• Understand methods to generate ultrasound data and operate instruments.
• Monitor patient's well-being during exams and respond to discomfort or medical issues.
• Safeguard patient information and maintain patient privacy.
• Safeguard medications on site according to company policies.
• Demonstrate professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities.
• Interacting diplomatically and sympathetically with patients and families.
• Establish, nurture and maintain cooperative working relationships.
