Job summary

RadNet is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to join a dedicated team delivering high-quality ultrasound services in a clinical setting. You will perform ultrasound examinations in strict accordance with approved practices and assist radiologists with biopsies and procedures.

The role requires completing an Ultrasound Technologist program with diploma, passing SPI, and ARDMS certification or registry eligibility. BLS certification is also required to ensure patient safety and care.

Qualifications

• Completed Ultrasound Technologist program with diploma.
• Passed SPI exam.
• Current ARDMS certifications or ARDMS Registry Eligible preferred.
• Must have BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality ultrasound procedures in line with department policies and regulatory requirements.
• Assist radiologists with ultrasound-guided biopsies and procedures.
• Understand ultrasound data generation and operation of instruments that detect, display, and store acoustic information.
• Monitor patient well-being during exams and respond to discomfort or medical issues.
• Safeguard patient property andPatient Health Information.
