Job summary

Relation Insurance Services is seeking a skilled Risk Placement Specialist to support sales and service teams in retaining and growing client relationships. The role focuses on evaluating referrals for HNW/UHNW alignment, optimizing renewals, and negotiating favorable terms with carriers.

Ideal candidates will hold a Property & Casualty license, have 5+ years in risk placement for UHNW clients, and possess strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Property & Casualty license from domicile state required and maintained
• 4+ years of experience supporting risk placement in UHNW/Family office space
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma acceptable
• Insurance designations (CPRM, CPRIA, CISR, CIC, CPCU) preferred
• Strong MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to learn new software

Responsibilities

• Support new business strategy and revenue generation by evaluating referrals for HNW/UHNW routing
• Develop renewal strategy based on client risk profiles and market conditions
• Analyze markets, products, and coverage options to tailor proposals
• Manage end-to-end new business placement, including prep, submission, quotes, and carrier communication
• Leverage carrier/underwriter relationships for pricing and terms
• Create comprehensive proposals reflecting coverages and underwriting outcomes
• Collaborate with sales/service to align placement with objectives
• Ensure quotes/proposals comply with laws and regulations
• Stay updated on industry trends and new insurance products
• Adopt innovative technology, including AI, to enhance client service
• Handle special projects and other duties as assigned
