Job summary

WesBanco Bank Inc. is seeking a Unified Communications Administrator to design, install, support, and upgrade Cisco UC infrastructure.

You will perform monitoring, optimization, and security reviews of UC platforms and endpoints, collaborating with Network, Systems, and Security teams to ensure high availability and compliance. The role requires hands-on experience with Cisco UC suites, VoIP protocols, and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience supporting Cisco Unified Communications or other collaboration platforms.
• Bachelor's Degree in CS or related field with hands-on UC/Networking experience.
• Industry certifications such as CCNA/CCNP are preferred.
• Experience with VoIP protocols (SIP, H.323, RTP) and call control concepts.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a frontline contact for UC service issues and escalate as needed.
• Perform daily monitoring of UC systems and endpoints for optimal performance.
• Assist senior team members with platform configuration and design optimization.
• Review UC systems for security and compliance.
• Troubleshoot VoIP and network issues to isolate root causes.
• Coordinate with service providers for telephony issues.
• Collaborate with Network, Systems, Database, and Security teams.
• Create and update Service Desk tickets and change management requests.
• Provide status updates to senior staff and management.
