Job summary

TPAPT is seeking experienced AP Instructors to tutor US students in grades 9-12 via online sessions. Ideal candidates are licensed teachers with prior AP course instruction experience and strong communication skills.

Tutors will create customized lesson plans aligned with AP standards and use online delivery tools to engage students effectively. Sessions run mostly after school hours CST, with 3–12 hours weekly, and compensation is $30–$35 per hour.

TPAPT, a national nonprofit consortium of over 15,000 locally owned and operated tutoring & college advising programs, is seeking experienced AP Instructors to work with US students in grades 9-12. Tutors will work closely with students to understand their unique learning styles and create customized lesson plans that support their individual academic goals.

The ideal candidate is a licensed teacher who is passionate about education, exhibits strong communication skills, and has instructed or tutored this AP course for their high school in the past.

Tests: AP World History or/and AP Human Geography

Classification: Contract

Compensation: $30-$35/hr

Location: Online

The Position:

• Provide AP Test Prep Tutoring to students in grades 9-12
• Tutoring assignments are 60-90 minutes
• Tutoring assignments will be regular and reliable
• Tutoring sessions are generally scheduled between 3PM and 9PM CST during the week and between 10am - 4pm CST for part of a weekend day.

• 3-12 hours per week of availability
• Earned Bachelor's Degree
• Materials for the subject mentioned in the post
