Job summary

TPAPT is seeking experienced AP Instructors to work with US students in grades 9-12 via online tutoring. You will tailor lesson plans to individual learning styles and support academic goals, leveraging your AP teaching background.

The ideal candidate is a licensed teacher with strong communication skills and prior AP instruction or tutoring experience. Roles are contract-based with flexible hours, typically 3PM–9PM CST on weekdays and some weekend slots.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• State teaching certification preferred (current/former).
• Experience teaching AP subjects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide AP test prep tutoring to students in grades 9-12.
• Deliver 60–90 minute tutoring sessions.
• Schedule sessions 3PM–9PM CST on weekdays and 10AM–4PM CST on weekends.

Job description

TPAPT, a national nonprofit consortium of over 15,000 locally owned and operated tutoring & college advising programs, is seeking experienced AP Instructors to work with US students in grades 9-12. Tutors will work closely with students to understand their unique learning styles and create customized lesson plans that support their individual academic goals.

The ideal candidate is a licensed teacher who is passionate about education, exhibits strong communication skills, and has instructed or tutored this AP course for their high school in the past.

The Position: Provide AP Test Prep Tutoring to students in grades 9-12. Tutoring assignments are 60-90 minutes. Tutoring assignments will be regular and reliable. Tutoring sessions are generally scheduled between 3PM and 9PM CST during the week and between 10am - 4pm CST for part of a weekend day.
