TPAPT is seeking experienced AP Instructors to work with US students in grades 9-12 through online tutoring. Instructors will tailor lessons to individual learning styles and help students reach their academic goals.

Ideal candidates are licensed teachers with AP experience and strong communication skills. Sessions run mainly 3PM–9PM CST on weekdays, with some weekend availability and online delivery.

Qualifications

• Licensed teacher with AP teaching/tutoring experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to tailor lessons to student needs.
• Familiarity with online lesson delivery and virtual tutoring platforms.

Responsabilités

• Provide AP Test Prep Tutoring to students in grades 9-12.
• Tutoring assignments are 60-90 minutes long.
• Scheduling is regular and reliable, with sessions mostly 3PM–9PM CST weekdays and some weekend slots.

TPAPT, a national nonprofit consortium of over 15,000 locally owned and operated tutoring & college advising programs, is seeking experienced AP Instructors to work with US students in grades 9-12. Tutors will work closely with students to understand their unique learning styles and create customized lesson plans that support their individual academic goals.

The ideal candidate is a licensed teacher who is passionate about education, exhibits strong communication skills, and has instructed or tutored this AP course for their high school in the past.

Classification: Contract

Compensation: $30-$35/hr

Location: Online

The Position

• Provide AP Test Prep Tutoring to students in grades 9-12
• Tutoring assignments are 60-90 minutes
• Tutoring assignments will be regular and reliable
• Tutoring sessions are generally scheduled between 3PM and 9PM CST during the week and between 10am - 4pm CST for part of a weekend day.

Requirements

• 3-12 hours per week of availability
• Earned Bachelor's Degree
• Materials for the subject mentioned in the post
• Exceptionally strong communication skills
• A passion for helping others learn
• Familiarity with online lesson delivery
• State teaching certification (current/former) and experience teaching the AP subject mentioned in this post preferred
