Job summary

TPAPT Remote is seeking experienced AP Instructors to work with US students in grades 9-12. The tutoring program offers online AP prep with sessions typically 60-90 minutes, scheduled mainly from 3PM to 9PM CST on weekdays and occasional weekend hours.

The ideal candidate is a licensed teacher with prior AP course experience, strong communication, and a passion for helping students succeed. Materials are provided for the subject, with a flexible, contract-based engagement.

Qualifications

• 3-12 hours per week of availability.
• Earned Bachelor's Degree.

• Familiarity with online lesson delivery.
• State teaching certification (current/former) and experience teaching the AP subject mentioned in this post preferred.

Job description

TPAPT, a national nonprofit consortium of over 15,000 locally owned and operated tutoring & college advising programs, is seeking experienced AP Instructors to work with US students in grades 9-12. Tutors will work closely with students to understand their unique learning styles and create customized lesson plans that support their individual academic goals.

The ideal candidate is a licensed teacher who is passionate about education, exhibits strong communication skills, and has instructed or tutored this AP course for their high school in the past.

Classification: Contract

Compensation: $30-$35/hr
