Job summary

TPAPT is seeking experienced AP Instructors to deliver online test-prep tutoring for high school students in grades 9-12. Tutors will customize lesson plans to fit individual learning styles and goals, leveraging their teaching background to guide students toward AP success.

The ideal candidate is a licensed teacher with prior AP instruction or tutoring experience, strong communication skills, and a passion for helping students learn in an online setting.

Qualifications

• 3–12 hours per week availability
• Earned Bachelor's Degree
• Familiarity with online lesson delivery

Responsibilities

• Provide AP Test Prep Tutoring to students in grades 9-12
• Tutoring assignments are 60-90 minutes
• Tutoring sessions scheduled between 3PM–9PM CST on weekdays and 10AM–4PM CST on some weekend days

Job description

TPAPT, a national nonprofit consortium of over 15,000 locally owned and operated tutoring & college advising programs, is seeking experienced AP Instructors to work with US students in grades 9-12. Tutors will work closely with students to understand their unique learning styles and create customized lesson plans that support their individual academic goals.

The ideal candidate is a licensed teacher who is passionate about education, exhibits strong communication skills, and has instructed or tutored this AP course for their high school in the past.

Company: TPAPT Remote, US Central Time

Tests: AP World History or/and AP Human Geography

Classification: Contract

Compensation: $30-$35/hr

Location: Online

The Position

• Provide AP Test Prep Tutoring to students in grades 9-12
• Tutoring assignments are 60-90 minutes
• Tutoring assignments will be regular and reliable
• Tutoring sessions are generally scheduled between 3PM and 9PM CST during the week and between 10am - 4pm CST for part of a weekend day.
