Job summary

TPAPT seeks experienced AP Instructors to tutor US students in grades 9-12. The role involves creating customized lesson plans, leveraging online platforms, and delivering AP World History and/or AP Human Geography prep.

Ideal candidates are licensed teachers with AP subject experience in schooling contexts, able to commit 3-12 hours weekly with reliable availability during CST times.

Qualifications

• Earned Bachelor's Degree.
• 3-12 hours per week of availability.
• Familiarity with online lesson delivery.
• State teaching certification (current/former) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide AP Test Prep Tutoring to students in grades 9-12.
• Sessions last 60-90 minutes.
• Schedule sessions between 3PM–9PM CST on weekdays and 10AM–4PM CST on weekends.

Job description

TPAPT, a national nonprofit consortium of over 15,000 locally owned and operated tutoring & college advising programs, is seeking experienced AP Instructors to work with US students in grades 9-12. Tutors will work closely with students to understand their unique learning styles and create customized lesson plans that support their individual academic goals.

The ideal candidate is a licensed teacher who is passionate about education, exhibits strong communication skills, and has instructed or tutored this AP course for their high school in the past.

Company: TPAPT Remote, US Central Time

Tests: AP World History or/and AP Human Geography

Classification: Contract

Compensation: $30-$35/hr

Location: Online

The Position

• Provide AP Test Prep Tutoring to students in grades 9-12
• Tutoring assignments are 60-90 minutes
• Tutoring assignments will be regular and reliable
• Tutoring sessions are generally scheduled between 3PM and 9PM CST during the week and between 10am - 4pm CST for part of a weekend day.
