Job summary

Harris Company seeks a Project Sales Representative to market and develop turnkey solutions for mechanical and plumbing retrofit projects in commercial markets. You will estimate, prepare proposals, and present them to clients while managing existing relationships and pursuing new opportunities.

The role emphasizes analyzing drawings, understanding lifecycle costs, and delivering cost-effective, high-value solutions aligned with customer goals.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Construction Sciences, HVAC, or related field
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technical, or related field preferred
• 4+ years of experience in HVAC, mechanical, and plumbing systems and components
• 4+ years of experience developing and maintaining customer relationships
• 1–2 years of proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Experience with energy savings analysis preferred

Responsibilities

• Market to new clients and develop turnkey solutions including estimating and proposal presentations for retrofit projects
• Manage existing customer relationships and respond to inquiries
• Prepare, present, and respond to proposals aligned with customer requirements
• Develop detailed proposals from project drawings and specs
• Plan and manage schedules to maximize productivity and quotes
• Create innovative design-build solutions tailored to client needs
• Maintain thorough documentation of account activity and interactions
