Job summary

Harris is seeking a Project Sales Representative to market turnkey HVAC/mechanical retrofit solutions for residential and commercial markets, including estimating and proposal presentations, while managing existing customer relationships. Ideal candidates will have knowledge of HVAC, mechanical/plumbing systems, and experience with prospecting and sales.

The role requires strong communication skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of HVAC and mechanical/plumbing systems.
• Experience with plumbing and industrial refrigeration is a plus.
• Ability to prepare financial justifications and understand energy savings (LEED a plus).
• Experience with customer relationship development and maintenance.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Survey and interpret mechanical drawings and job conditions to define repair or replacement needs.
• Review specs/drawings to determine scope and estimate contents.
• Develop or respond to proposals for customer requirements.
• Qualify prospects and present solutions; address questions and objections.
• Maintain long-term customer relationships and resolve issues promptly.
