Harris in Las Vegas is seeking a sales engineer responsible for marketing the company to new clients and developing turnkey HVAC and plumbing retrofit solutions for residential and commercial markets. You will estimate, prepare proposals, and present them to customers while strengthening existing relationships.

The role requires solid knowledge of mechanical systems, the ability to survey sites, interpret drawings, and craft cost-effective recommendations.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Construction Sciences, HVAC, or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technical, or related field preferred.
• 4+ years of experience and knowledge of HVAC, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
• 4+ years of experience developing and maintaining customer relationships.
• 1–2 years proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to understand and communicate energy savings of proposed solutions.
• Experience preparing financial justifications, including energy savings analysis.
• Industrial refrigeration experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Mechanical systems knowledge and surveying to identify repair/replacement needs.
• Review specs/drawings to determine scope and estimate contents.
• Develop and present proposals for customer requirements.
• Qualify prospects, present solutions, follow up on leads.
• Maintain customer relationships and communicate with vendors.
• Plan appointments and manage time to maximize sales and quotes.
