Job summary

Harris is seeking an HVAC Project Sales Representative to market the company and develop turnkey solutions, including estimating and proposal presentations for mechanical and plumbing retrofit projects in residential and commercial markets.

You will survey systems, interpret drawings, prepare financial justifications, and present proposals while qualifying prospects and maintaining strong customer relationships across teams.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of HVAC, mechanical and plumbing systems and components.
• Experience with plumbing and industrial refrigeration is a plus.
• Ability to prepare financial justification for solutions.
• Understanding of energy savings; LEED knowledge is a plus.
• Experience with customer relationship development and maintenance.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Power Point.

Responsibilities

• Market the company and develop turnkey solutions including estimating/proposal presentation.
• Survey mechanical systems, interpret drawings, determine repair/modification/replacement requirements.
• Review specifications/drawings to determine scope of work and contents of estimate.
• Develop, present or respond to proposals for customer requirements.
• Qualify prospects, make sales presentations, address questions and objections.
• Maintain long-term positive relationships with customers.
