Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure vacant units are turned quickly to market-ready condition by performing repairs and routine upkeep. Responsibilities include caulking, drywall checks, touch‑up painting, grounds maintenance, and documenting make‑ready tasks.

The role requires adherence to safety standards and strong resident‑facing communication. The position offers full-time hours at an hourly rate.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance and make‑ready repairs for apartment homes.
• Knowledge of safety policies and OSHA requirements is preferred.
• Ability to communicate with residents and respond to inquiries professionally.

Responsibilities

• Completes all needed repairs and improvements to apartment homes prior to resident move‑in by following the community’s make‑ready checklist.
• Ensures apartment homes have been properly caulked and sealed as needed around windows, sink areas, toilets, bathtubs, and showers.
• Inspects all sheetrock for damage, and repairs and/or replaces as needed.
• Performs touch-up paints for vacant and occupied units as directed by Service Supervisor or Community Manager.
• Assists in maintaining the grounds, common areas, and amenities by cleaning and upkeep tasks.
• Supports cost-cutting by fixing rather than replacing parts when possible and using materials efficiently.
• Completes make-ready checklist and documentation in a timely manner.
• Participates in safety meetings and adheres to Greystar safety policies.
• Demonstrates customer service skills with residents, addressing questions and concerns.
