Job summary

Intuit is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our dynamic team as dedicated year-round TurboTax Retail Experts in one of our TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations across the United States. This role focuses on in-person tax service and community engagement, delivering personalized tax solutions and client growth.

The position is on-site, part-time (minimum 20 hours/week), non-exempt, with base pay in California of $32.50–$36.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience.
• PTIN to file taxes as required by law.
• Must possess or be able to obtain related state licenses/certificates.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230 and tax regulations.
• Must be onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location, 20+ hours per week, including weekends.
• Willing to wear a TurboTax uniform and work in a front-facing retail environment.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.

Responsibilities

• Represent TurboTax locally as a face of TurboTax in the community.
• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax customers.
• Conduct discovery sessions to uncover deductions and plan taxes.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience and build long-term client relationships.
• Interact with customers in-person and via Intuit's video tools, addressing inquiries.
