Job summary

Intuit is seeking TurboTax Retail Experts to work on-site at TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations across the United States. You will serve in-person customers, provide full service tax return preparation and tax advice, and leverage marketing support to grow the local client base.

The role is non-exempt and requires onsite presence, with hours including Sundays through Saturdays. California base pay ranges 32.50–36.00 USD per hour.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Must possess or obtain related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location, 20+ hours/week.
• Interest in building local and online presence as a TurboTax Expert per Intuit policies.
• Must reside within the United States.

Responsibilities

• Be a proactive community ambassador, representing TurboTax locally and growing client base.
• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax customers.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience with professionalism and genuine assistance.
