Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is hiring TurboTax Retail Experts to work on-site at a TurboTax Retail or Flagship location in California. You will provide in-person tax return preparation, tax advice, and software support, building relationships with customers and the local community.

The role is non-exempt, part-time, requiring a minimum of 20 hours per week, with an expected base pay range of $32.50–$36.00 per hour. Compensation includes benefits and performance rewards through Intuit’s programs.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license.
• Must possess or be able to obtain state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid tax return preparation experience.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax return preparation and tax advice for TurboTax customers.
• Complete tax preparations for simple to complex situations.
• Conduct discovery sessions and tax reviews to maximize deductions and refunds.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and build long-term relationships.
• Interact with customers on-site and via Intuit tools; support local community outreach.
