Job summary

Intuit is seeking TurboTax Retail Experts to serve customers on-site at a TurboTax Retail or Flagship location across the United States. You will provide full-service tax return preparation, tax advice, and software support, while building relationships in your local community and contributing to marketing efforts.

This non-exempt, on-site role offers 20+ hours weekly, with base pay in California of $32.50–$36.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Active EA/CPA/attorney license preferred.
• 3+ years of paid tax return preparation experience (30+ federal/state returns per season).
• PTIN in good standing required by law.
• Able to obtain state licenses/certifications as needed.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Onsite at TurboTax location 20+ hours/week; weekends included.
• English/Spanish bilingual a plus.
• Willing to wear TurboTax uniform.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person tax preparation and advisory services for TurboTax customers.
• Conduct discovery sessions and tax reviews to optimize deductions and refunds.
• Deliver exceptional customer experience and build long-term client relationships.
• Participate in local marketing and community outreach to grow TurboTax presence.
