Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking TurboTax Retail Experts to work on-site at TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations across the United States, with a California focus for the base pay range listed. You will provide hands-on tax preparation, expert advice, and software support to in-person customers, while growing the local client base and leveraging marketing support.

This non-exempt, on-site role requires a customer-focused mindset, weekend availability, and 20+ hours per week in a retail setting.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Must possess or obtain state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state 1040s per season.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to work onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location, 20+ hours per week.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.
• Willing to wear a TurboTax uniform and work in a front-facing retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for customers.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to optimize deductions and refunds.
• Deliver accurate tax solutions using government sites and professional tools.
• Create an exceptional customer experience and build long-term relationships.
• Interact with customers in-person and via TurboTax video tools.
