Intuit, Inc. seeks TurboTax Local Service Experts to work on-site at TurboTax locations across the United States. You’ll provide hands-on tax expertise, prepare returns, and connect clients with a broader Intuit team.

This role emphasizes local growth, in-person and virtual client service, and a proactive community presence, with training and compliance support, plus competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software; Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into bookkeeping, payroll, or advisory services with training provided by Intuit.
• Must work onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, for a minimum of 20 hours per week; training and compliance requirements apply.
• Must be willing to complete all required training and development as determined by the business.
• Must wear Intuit uniforms and be comfortable using your name/picture for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tax Expertise - give hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador - build and grow a new local customer base and represent TurboTax in the community.
• Champion the Full Intuit Ecosystem - connect clients with bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services when appropriate.
• Build Relationships - develop long-term trust and convert prospects into loyal clients.
• Deliver a Best in Class Customer Experience – ensure professionalism and help clients achieve financial goals.
