Job summary

Intuit is seeking motivated individuals to join our TurboTax Local Service Expert team in new TurboTax locations across the United States. You will provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services, while actively building a local client base and representing TurboTax in the community.

You will champion Intuit’s ecosystem, develop cross‑selling opportunities, and deliver an exceptional customer experience both in person and via video tools.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Have an active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Must be willing to complete all required training and development as determined by the business.
• Must be willing to wear Intuit provided uniforms and use your name for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tax Expertise - Give hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide future tax planning advice.
• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador by building a new local customer base through outreach and partnerships.
• Champion the Full Intuit Ecosystem by connecting clients with Intuit solutions (bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, Credit Karma).
• Build Relationships and deliver a Best in Class Customer Experience with a professional demeanor.
• Interact with customers in-person and via Intuit’s video tools, addressing inquiries and helping them overcome tax challenges.
