Job summary

Intuit is seeking motivated individuals to join our TurboTax Local Service Expert team at a TurboTax location in the United States. You will perform on-site tax preparation and provide expert guidance to clients, both in person and virtually, helping them manage complex tax situations and maximize refunds.

You’ll collaborate with a network of tax professionals, grow your local client base, and represent Intuit in the community while delivering a best-in-class customer experience.

Qualifications

• EA/CPA/attorney with strong tax prep experience.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• 3+ years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per season with professional software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types with training provided by Intuit.
• Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office 8:00–17:00 local time, Mon–Fri, 20+ hours/week.
• Must complete all required training and development and wear Intuit uniforms.
• Interest in building a local and online TurboTax presence and content.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex situations.
• Be a proactive community ambassador by growing local client base and conducting outreach.
• Connect clients with Intuit solutions like bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning.
• Build relationships to convert one-time clients into long-term relationships.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience both in-person and via video tools.
